Project Goal

The goal of this project was to stabilize the website after an unexpected server upgrade, eliminate legacy technical risks, and rebuild the platform using a modern, secure, and scalable architecture. By migrating from an outdated PHP-based system to Laravel 10 with PHP 8.4 compatibility, the objective was to deliver a high-performance, SEO-optimized, and future-ready website that supports long-term business growth.

Why Client Came to Us

The client approached us when their website suddenly went offline, causing an immediate drop in traffic and disrupting access for many users. The issue occurred after their hosting provider stopped supporting PHP 5.6 and automatically upgraded the server to a newer PHP version. Since the website was built on outdated and incompatible technology, it failed to run on the updated environment. This unexpected downtime created urgency, as the website was no longer accessible, directly impacting the business. The client needed immediate technical intervention to restore the site and identify a long-term, reliable solution.

Problems we Identified

Once the website was temporarily restored by rolling back the server to PHP 5.6, we conducted a full technical and UX review. The Solution We Proposed

We temporarily rolled back the server to PHP 5.6 to restore the website after the hosting provider automatically upgraded PHP. This ensured the site was live again while we planned a stable, long-term solution.

UI Refresh & Improved User Experience

We recommended a complete UI refresh to address visual inconsistencies and usability gaps. Using Tailwind CSS, we designed a cleaner layout structure with full responsiveness, consistent components, and improved user flow, ensuring a better experience across all devices while supporting SEO best practices.
